DigaliX and Casino Barcelona inaugurate the first Simracing room with professional simulators
SIMRACING by LET ROOM is the simracing room open at Casino Barcelona and equipped with 6 state-of-the-art professional simulators manufactured by the leading Portuguese brand IMSIM in the sector.
DigaliX is a technological partner of Casino de Barcelona and has been in charge of designing this space that provides a hyper-realistic experience to gamers and motorsport enthusiasts.
In SIMRACING BY LET ROOM, the public can experience the sensations of professional racing drivers and simracers, since IMSIM simulators have a 3DOF movement system, which means that it replicates the physics and G forces of the competition, generating an immersive experience. They guarantee precise and comfortable driving thanks to software and hardware capable of transmitting the limit of grip, weight transfer, engine revs, traction loss, suspension work on curbs, etc.
Characteristics:
- Gaming platforms: Assetto Corsa Ultimate Edition and rFactor2. Expandable for events with pre-booking to other titles such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, etc.
- A new circuit and car every week.
- Competition time: 10 minutes approx. Includes practice, qualify and race.
- Possibility of organizing group competitions and events.
Thanks to AssettoHosting.com, all simulators at SIMRACING BY LET ROOM are connected online, allowing pilots to compete in real-time. Results are stored to create challenges and competitions among participants, enhancing the overall simracing experience.
Casino Barcelona has also entered to eSports thanks to DigaliX and its simracing team, which has been renamed DXDROIDS SIMRACING by LET ROOM.
The inauguration of the room was attended by different personalities from the motor world such as Oriol Vidal, runner-up Dakar Rally 2023 in T4; Natacha Alfageme, journalist specializing in motorsport; Ann Suki, influencer of the sector; and Luis Pérez-Sala, former F1 driver and Hispano Suiza driver ambassador.
